“Serbia winner of legitimate political struggle in Interpol” (BETA, Prva TV)
Serbian Minister of Trade and Infrastructure, Rasim Ljajic told Prva TV, Serbia came out as a winner “of legitimate political struggle” in Interpol.
He added, Belgrade would continue to request Pristina to abolish additional taxes imposed to the goods from central Serbia.
“If Kosovo succeeded in its attempt to join Interpol, then the continuation of political dialogue would be undermined, admission to Interpol would encourage Kosovo institutions, that are already impairing negotiation process, and why would they negotiate if there is a shortcut to reach all important international organizations and institutions,” Ljajic noted.
Commenting on Pristina’s intention to keep taxes, Ljajic said it is kind of childish moaning, outside of all economic logic and rules, assessing that everything goes to the detriment of customers, since the prices of the goods got increased as well.
