Stefanovic: We have indications who is murderer of Oliver Ivanovic (Prva TV, B92)
Serbian Minister of Internal Affairs, Nebojsa Stefanovic told Prva TV that Pristina took over responsibility, whether the murderers of Oliver Ivanovic would be found.
However, Belgrade, despite of Pristina’s behavior that is refusing any sort of cooperation, has certain indications as to who the murderer is, there are information “about moves of certain individuals from Kosovo and Metohija, as well as about departure to one western state.”
“We are trying to get confirmation with that western state. We must be serious, to support with evidence everything that we have come to,” Stefanovic said, adding it is obvious that EULEX is not taking part in the investigation.
He also stressed that Serbian Prosecutor Office sent to Pristina thousand requests, asking for bullets’ cartridges, however, we either received no response, or got something we did not ask for. “We asked for original cartridges and received cloned ones,” Stefanovic said.
He added that Milan Radojicic gave a statement to the Serbian police, and there are evidences he was not in Kosovo and Metohija at the time of Oliver Ivanovic’s murder, and that the investigation run by Belgrade was serious.
“We do not intend to protect anyone, if he is guilty for something he should go to jail. But it cannot be done by force, if it suits Pristina and now we all must push in that direction. I do not support that,” Stefanovic said.
