Serbia and Georgia share mutual values and adhere to the principle of respecting sovereignty and territorial integrity of internationally recognized states, President Aleksandar Vucic said during the meeting with Georgian Assembly Speaker Irakli Kobakhidze.
Vucic also thanked Georgia for non-recognition of unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo. The two officials assessed relations between two countries as good and friendly, adding that economic cooperation is not sufficiently developed.
Vucic noted the opening of diplomatic offices of Georgia in Belgrade, respectively of Serbia in Tbilisi would significantly contribute to better and frequent contacts between the two sides.
Assembly Speaker Kobakhidze said he is very interested in Serbia’s experiences on the path to EU integration and expressed satisfaction over established frame of cooperation, that includes exchange of information through consultations of responsible ministries.
