Georgia thanked for backing Serbia's territorial integrity (B92, Srbija.gov.rs)

First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic was on a bilateral visit to Georgia on Wednesday, where he met with Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani.

Dacic emphasized the importance of good and friendly relations between the two countries and its people, expressing satisfaction with successful cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, the government announced.

Vucic thanks Georgia for its stance on Kosovo (RTS)

Serbia and Georgia share mutual values and adhere to the principle of respecting sovereignty and territorial integrity of internationally recognized states, President Aleksandar Vucic said during the meeting with Georgian Assembly Speaker Irakli Kobakhidze.

Vucic also thanked Georgia for non-recognition of unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo. The two officials assessed relations between two countries as good and friendly, adding that economic cooperation is not sufficiently developed.

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic met in Tbilisi on Tuesday with Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze at the beginning of her first official visit to that country.

Brnabic, who is the first prime minister of Serbia on an official visit to Georgia, and Bakhtadze said during the talks that the relations of the two countries are good and traditionally friendly and that in the coming period they will work on intensifying cooperation in different areas.

EU Council, European Parliament reach compromise on visa-free travel for Ukraine, Georgia and Kosovo (TV Most, TASS)

The Council of the European Union and the European Parliament have come to terms over the mechanism that would allow to suspend visa-free agreements which needed to be done before Ukraine, Georgia and Kosovo could be granted visa-free travel rights, a source in the EU Council told TASS.

"Yes, during inter-institutional consultations a compromise has been reached on a mechanism to suspend visa-free accords," the source said. Now this decision needs to be approved at a European Parliament session.
