Vucic: I told the Serbs to wait for the end of the talks in Berlin (Serbian media)
A meeting of President Aleksandar Vucic with representatives of the Kosovo Serbs was held in the Palace of Serbia. After the meeting, Vucic said in a press conference that he advised them to wait for talks in Berlin, where he will meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron, reports Belgrade based news agency Beta.
"Apart from everything else, Pristina is doing some other things. They want to revoke the right of Serbs to an opinion," Vucic said.
-I would prefer that they do participate, but I did not tell them so, he added.
The president started his address by stressing that Serbia is in a difficult situation due to Pristina's irresponsible activities, as well as because of what he finds to be the incomprehensible activity of the Western powers.
Speaking to the public after the meeting, Vucic said that Albanians seek "Serbs minions, who will never mention Serbia, that Kosovo is their country or their homeland, and that Serbia has nothing to do with it." And that is the meaning of everything they do - and that's why the Serbian List bothers them, because they want to work and agree with their country Serbia, he added. He said that it is why there is a fierce campaign against the Serb List from the beginning.
"That's why they did not even ask Serbs about the elections they are calling for 19 May", added Vucic.
He said that he told the Serbs not to allow Albanians to elect representatives with just over one percent of the votes, and secondly - to wait for the end of the talks on April 29 and 30 in Berlin, when he will meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron.
I asked representatives of the Serbian List, when it comes to our measures, to wait the end of these talks, Vucic said, adding that he will meet with the President of China and would like to speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
After that, I will present to our people in Kosovo a plan of measures of Serbia, announced Vucic.
He said that he and Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic from Germany and France received a call for a meeting in Berlin, with Kosovo representatives Ramush Haradinaj and Hashim Thaqi, and that Serbia will then present its answer afterwards that will certainly be because, as he said, " Serbia cannot eternally suffer blows with sticks to the head without responding."
If they think that there is this sledgehammer, that rifle that will force me to sit with them until they do not abolish the tax, it does not exist in entire world, said Vucic, when questioned about the dialogue.
He reiterated that for five months "the terror lasts" over Serbia over the introduction of a 100 percent taxes on goods, and that Pristina did not fulfill its obligation to form the Community of Serb municipalities for six years.
''But they formed the so-called Kosovo army, contrary to even theirs Constitution, adopted a platform and two laws aimed against dialogue, because they are asking Serbia to recognize Kosovo, to pay war damages and form a separate tribunal for the crimes of Serbs. Lately there are other things that are showing Albanian arrogance and haughtiness because they work visibly on the unification of Kosovo and Albania, in front of the eyes of the entire international community, while everyone keeps silent,'' Vucic said.
Asked what he expects from the meeting in Berlin, Vucic replied that he did not expect anything.
"I really respect Angela Merkel and Emmanuel Macron, I think that we have some kind of mutual respect, but considering who we work with in Pristina, I do not expect anything," Vucic said.
Daily Blic reports that Vucic mentioned and the yesterday dismissed minister from the Serbian List, Ivan Teodosijevic, who was dismissed for telling the truth about Racak, although, Vucic says, "today everyone knows that it was fabrication by William Walker".
- It's as if they were nice guys who fought for freedom against some villains, as if Todosijevic had killed 19 witnesses, and not someone else. He said something that the Albanian criminal lobby did not like, Vucic said at the conference.
Today's meeting in the Palace of Serbia was attended by 137 representatives of Serbs from all over Kosovo, as well as Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric, reports Belgrade based daily Blic.
