War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic said today that the investigation into organ trafficking in Kosovo (the case of the yellow house), came to an end and now should be decided whether charges will be filed or they will give up from it, saying that the evidence Serbia has speak about the existence of war crimes.
-The evidence we have gathered show that there were war crimes, but we did not come to the perpetrators. We defined the existence of the criminal offense of war crimes, but we were unable to determine whether really the trafficking in human organs happen – said Vukcevic.
He added that they tried with Albanian colleagues to achieve cooperation and access sites, where they suspected the victims were buried. But they did not have access to the field.
Vukcevic, told reporters at the Special Court that he expects the Chief Prosecutor Clint Williamson to announce in coming days the results of the investigation of this case.
