Minister for Communities and Return Dalibor Jevtic most sharply condemned public desecration of the church ‘Christ the Savior’ in Pristina.

“Such manner of desecration of the Orthodox church deserves full condemnation. It is inadmissible that anyone gives itself such a right to publicly record and screen such a video in a shrine, which directly insults feelings of Serbian community in Kosovo,” said Jevtic and urged authorities to punish responsible for desecration of the church in Pristina and to ban the screening of such video-spot. “That’s the only way to send the clear message that rule of law in Kosovo is respected when it comes to rights of non-majority communities,” stressed Jevtic in a press communiqué.

The singer Era Istrefi has recorded a video for the song “E dehun“ (Drunk) where she dances half-naked in the orthodox church in Pristina. Besides her, there are several other actors who also dance half-naked in the unfinished orthodox church.
