Commemoration service for murdered Serb harvesters in Staro Gracko (Blic)
Commemoration service will be served in village Staro Gracko in Lipljan/Lipjan municipality in Kosovo on 23 July to mark 16 years after the murder of 14 Serb harvesters.
Commemoration service will be attended by the head of Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić, the chairperson of the Serbian Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija Milovan Drecun, the head of Kosovo District (Serbian administrative system), Srdjan Petković, the deputy premier of Kosovo, Branimir Stojanović, Minister for Communities and Return in the Kosovo government Dalibor Jevtić, Mayor of Gračanica/Graçanicë municipality Vladeta Kostić, and Serb MPs in the Kosovo parliament.
Minister Jevtić yesterday requested at the Kosovo government’s session that responsible for this crime are finally brought to justice.
“16 years ago 14 harvesters were murdered and massacred. No one was held responsible for that crime until today. In behalf of the victims’ families, justice and truth, I request that responsible are brought to justice,” said Jevtić.
