The Fund for the north of Kosovo 7.5 million (Kontakt Plus radio)

Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa said that currently there is about 7.5 million Euros in the Fund for the north of Kosovo, stating that infrastructure and other development projects will be financed by these funds.

"Today we had a talk with the Minister of Finance. We discussed the issue of this fund so that we would not face the situation where money is collected and after that not used," said Mustafa at press conference in Government of Kosovo. He pointed out that the Fund is managed by the EU Office in Kosovo together with the Ministry of Finance in the Government of Kosovo and the Serbian community representative.

Responding to a question of Beta agency whether Serbia, through Kosovo budget, invests funds for the needs of Serbian enclaves in Kosovo, Mustafa said that there were no such investments. "We don’t have enclaves, but we have municipalities with Serbian majority. If there will be such investments, we will treat them the way we process all other foreign investment in Kosovo," replied Kosovo PM.
