Nikolić supports Brussels agreements (Danas)
“Foreign and internal policy of the state is led by the Serbian Government, which has support of the Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić,” was a short reply of the coordinator for cooperation with media in the president’s cabinet Vuk Fatić to a question asked by daily Danas about Nikolić’s stand on agreements with Pristina signed in Brussels by the end of August.
Commenting on how comes that president voiced his stand over a video footage that appeared recently on Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić meeting Rodoljub Radulović, a person suspected for being related with drug gangs, whereas public is pending to hear his stand over Brussels agreements for more than two weeks, Fatić stressed that “the president always replies to all questions he is being asked” and if anyone asked about Brussels agreements he would receive the answer.
Daily also reported that during yesterday's ceremony of handing over credential of newly appointed Ambassador of Norway to Serbia Arne Bjornstad, Nikolić said that Serbia expects that its sincere commitment toward European integration and just solution for Kosovo issue is acknowledged at the international plan, since this contributes to positive incentives toward the European perspective of the region, along with lasting peace, stability and prosperity.
Nikolić also stressed that he is sure that Norway understands Serbia’s aspirations and that it will contribute, within the frame of its capacities, to realization of such aspirations.
