Serbian National Forum: Who gave a mandate to Stojanović to lead discussion on army? (KIM radio)
The Serbian National Forum (SNF) expresses its concern regarding the statement of Branimir Stojanović that the "Serbian List is ready to discuss the establishment of Kosovo's armed forces only through official meetings and not via the media."
The SNF is asking ''who gave a mandate to Branimir Stojanović to lead the talks on establishment of the Kosovo's army? "
"Statement by the Deputy Prime Minister of "Republic of Kosovo" and member of the Executive Board of the SNS, Branimir Stojanović, that 'the Serbian List is ready to discuss the establishment of Kosovo's armed forces' is extremely worrying! The Serbian National Forum shares this concern with the entire Serbian people, because it is a strategically important issue with far-reaching and long-term consequences on the region," says a statement from the SNF.
The Branimir Stojanović's statement, the SNF says, expresses a doubt that the Serbian list is ready to negotiate secretly about such a serious issue.
"The SNF fears that the announcement of the beginning of the drafting of the Statute of the Community of Serbian municipalities, is only a cover to get the Serbian list to negotiate, trade and ultimately to vote for the Law on the Armed Forces of Kosovo."
The SNF believes that the Serbian List does not have such a mandate of the Serbian nation, and especially, to secretly negotiate about it, and urgently needs to stop any activity on this issue.
