Oliver Ivanović: Dangerous times again in Kosovo (Dnevnik)

Oliver Ivanović assesses that Kosovo will have early elections by the end of the year. Explaining this position, the most famous prisoner of Kosovo, whose Citizens' Initiative SDP is part of the Serbian List in the Kosovo parliament, says that the withdrawal of the proposal of ratification of the agreement on the demarcation with Montenegro from the agenda, for the current government of Isa Mustafa is "the last nail into their own coffin." - I thought that the authorities in Pristina will hit the wall until the next summer, but the deep division within the ruling coalition suggests early elections soon - explained Ivanović. - Isa Mustafa can avoid the break-up of his government only if voting happens, in some mysterious way, in the next seven to ten days, on the demarcation, although I do not see how.  For, as things stand now, the Albanian parties among themselves cannot provide the necessary two-thirds majority, and it is clear that the Serbian list will not vote, because we believe that Serbia should lead the demarcation, since we do not recognize Kosovo's independence, and therefore we cannot support some kind of separate arrangements of Pristina and Podgorica. - The Serbian List is a special story - continues Ivanović. - From the beginning, it was obvious that the Albanians have no respect for the Serbian List and do not appreciate it and presuppose that they should be "loyal" coalition partners and to vote for all they're looking for. This, of course, the Serbian List will not and should not do. The Serbian list must position itself so that its opinion is accepted, but not just at the time of the vote, but at a time when a bill goes into the general procedure. As a matter of fact, this proposal was not expected to reach the Parliament without a positive opinion of the Serbian List, just as PDK and LDK have the same right.
