"Tense dinner" in Sarajevo as Vucic "yells" at Mustafa (B92, Jutarnji List, IndexHR, Tanjug)
Croatian media are reporting about a dinner organized in Sarajevo, stressing the tension at the table because of Aleksandar Vucic and Isa Mustafa. "Fierce quarrel in Sarajevo, Vucic attacks Kosovo prime minister in restaurant - Dinner on verge of incident: 'Why are you plundering Serb property?'," is the headline in the Jutarnji List daily.
"The meeting where (Serbian and Kosovo PMs) Vucic, Mustafa, and (Albanian PM) Rama met face to face was the first of the kind after another round of the worsening of relations between Serbia and Kosovo and increasingly strong verbal confrontation between these two states," writes the Croatian website.
Another, Index, also went for "Dinner on verge of incident" in their headline, which added, "Vucic yelled at Kosovo prime minister."
According to the article, the atmosphere was "extremely tense, at times even very unpleasant, so at times it seemed that some of the participants would leave the restaurant."
Tanjug is reporting that the dinner in Sarajevo went in a "tense" atmosphere, and that Vucic "addressed" Mustafa.
According to the agency, Vucic "did not miss the opportunity" to ask Mustafa on what Pristina based its decision to seize Serbian property in the province.
According to unofficial information, Vucic asked Mustafa whether he "made the decision on his own, or with someone's consent."
Vucic is in Sarajevo for the Summit of Prime Ministers of the Western Balkans, hosted by Denis Zvizdic, who chairs the the Council of Ministers of Bosnia-Herzegovina, and who also organized last night's dinner.
The prime ministers are expected to focus on regional projects and linking transport and energy infrastructure, as well as greater economic exchange, "since access to the EU is a common goal of all participants," the Serbian government said announcing the gathering.
The summit is also attended by EU Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn.
