Ivanović: Serb influence smaller (N1, KIM radio)
Leader of the CI SDP Oliver Ivanović said that the influence of the Serbs would be even lesser after the elections in Kosovo. He added that he was not sure that there were individuals in the Serbian List with credibility sufficient for playing a serious role.
-The credibility of individuals required for a serious and active role for the Serbs has to be such that they are acknowledged by foreigners and Albanians, as well as the Serb community. Do we have people like that on the List? I am not so sure, said Ivanović to the regional TV station N1.
Commenting the election results, Ivanovic said that he expected better results of the coalition gathered around Ramush Haradinaj but added that they can’t have sufficient numbers with 33% to 35% to form a government except with the LDK.
He said that it was clear to everyone that the prime minister of Kosovo was not chosen just on the basis of votes but on the basis of the view of the international community, especially the US Ambassador in Pristina, N1 reported.
