Simic: Appeals Commission accepted six out of seven Srpska Lista complaints (BETA, KIM Radio)

Leader of a political party Civic Initiative Srpska Lista, Slavko Simic stated yesterday that Election Appeals and Complaints Commission accepted 6 out of 7 complaints from the party related to the results of the extraordinary parliamentary elections in Kosovo, Beta agency reported. “The Srpska Lista submitted 7 complaints, and the Commission made positive decisions on 6 of them,” Simic stated, adding that individual candidates from the list submitted 4 more complaints. According to Simic, “someone at the Central Election Commission made a grave mistake, as CEC did not register and noted votes for the Srpska Lista candidates that exist in the minutes from the six polling stations,” adding that the Srpska Lista “expects the investigation into this case.” He also said Commission rejected complaint of the Srpska Lista related to “1.380 conditional votes from northern Kosovo.” Meanwhile the Commission stated it had rejected three complaints from the representative of the Kosovo Serb Party, headed by Aleksandar Jablanovic. KIM radio also reported that the Commission accepted 9 out of 11 submitted complaints of Srpska Lista and its individual members. All parties whose complaints were rejected have 24 hours to submit them again to the Supreme Court. Srpska Lista based on current results won 9 seats in the new composition of the parliament, out of 120 seats.
