“It is shame to use commemoration for political promotion” (RTV KIM, Radio Gorazdevac)

Spasoje Dakic, close relative to the murdered Pantelija Dakic, stated on Sunday, following the commemoration of the murdered Serb youth at the River Bistrica 14 years ago, it is regretful that politicians come to the commemoration in Gorazdevac just to be photographed.

Spasoje said to the journalists that no one comes to visit families of murdered and injured Serb youngsters. To at least ask them how they are doing, Spasoje said.

“It is regretful to use this day for the promotion of the politics. It is a shame that for 14 years there has been no progress in shading the light on the murders. Who killed late Panta and Ivan? For 14 years nothing has been done. It is a shame. They come here every year, make promises at their graveyards what they will do and then nothing,” Spasoje Dakic said.

He also highlighted that the representatives of the Serbs in Kosovo in no way help continue investigation in order to find the perpetrators of this crime.

“Since the investigation was closed, have they sent any message, have they sent any letter to the families? Did they address those who were responsible for this investigation? Not a single time, not a single time. Where are their proofs? It is a shame,” he said.

Head of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo, Marko Djuric, members of the Srpska Lista no Kosovo Assembly, Slavko Simic, Igor Simic and chair of Srpska Lista, Goran Rakic as well as director of the Kosovo Government Community Office, Ivan Tomic were present at the commemoration.
