Trajkovic: In the North, the silence is the loudest (RTK2, Kossev, RTV)
If he was accepted as a political factor in Kosovo, Oliver Ivanovic could have been protected, said Momcilo Trajkovic in the Show "Right Angle" of the Radio Television of Vojvodina, reports RTK2.
"It would be much better that the Serbian List today supports Oliver Ivanovic that he is the mayor of Mitrovica - for Serbia, it would be a strong pillar; than him lying in the Alley of meritorious citizens. I would like the orderer and executor to be discovered, because that would change the whole political course, political processes throughout the region, not only in Serbia, or in Kosovo," said member of the Serbian National Forum, Momcilo Trajkovic.
According to Trajkovic, after Ivanovic's murder, in the North of Kosovo, the loudest is the silence.
"The fear prevails among citizens, and those who are trying to convince themselves that there is some perspective - it is shaken from the roots. The question arises: is it worth the effort to invest life in the struggle for national and state interests when neither nation nor state understands you? I do not want to be pessimistic, I am still advocating that we have to stay and survive, but we have to make those who are obligated to care about us to think a little about the politics that has been conducted so far, "Trajkovic added.
Trajkovic also spoke about his conversation with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, which he described as "very open."
"I told Vucic that we did not come to destroy the president, the government, because this is not our task. I would not want to be an opponent to the president, I would like to be a partner to the president, together with all the people who are thinking, to use the position to solve problems; but not a partner in the process that will lead to independence," Trajkovic said.
