Kuburovic: There is no reciprocity in cooperation with the Pristina authorities (TV Prva, N1)
Serbian Minister of Justice Nela Kuburovic told TV station Prva that there is no new information on the investigation of Ivanovic’s murder, reports N1.
“Although the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime responded to almost all requests/inquiries that were sent by Pristina authorities, five until now, on the other hand, we did not have such reciprocity when it comes to the cooperation” Kuburovic says.
She says that Pristina have replied partially to one, out of two requests sent by the Prosecution for Organized Crime. Kuburovic states that at the beginning of the proceedings, only a record from the on-site investigation and autopsy report was obtained and that there was no new evidence or material ever since, reports N1.
The minister points out that the Serbian authorities are ready to cooperate with Pristina authorities in finding the perpetrator and those who ordered it.
-We are ready for cooperation. Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime undertakes certain pre-investigative actions in the territory of Serbia. We believe that maybe Special Prosecution (Kosovo), which took over the case, will continue to cooperate with the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime, says Kuburovic.
