Dacic: Government shall never sign Kosovo membership in UN (Danas)
“This Government, this President of Serbia, this ruling coalition shall never recognize unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said, Danas daily.
Speaking about legally binding agreement, Dacic said those who are legal professionals they know, and he is not a one, however, he knows that such a thing does not exist, if there is an agreement it is also presumably binding.
“What kind of legally unbinding agreement is there? We insist on implementation of Brussels agreement,” Dacic said, speaking at the Serbian Assembly session yesterday, adding that Blerim Shala who was present when the Brussels agreement was signed and Enver Hoxhaj are saying now that Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities would be formed only after Kosovo membership in the UN or after the legally binding agreement on normalization of Belgrade-Pristina relations is reached
“This not only was agreed, but this is yet another open avoidance of fulfilment of their obligations,” Dacic stressed.
According to Dacic, EU must react to such statements coming from Kosovo, as it turns out now what has been agreed upon five years ago is binding, but new excuses are sought.
