Trajkovic: Northern Kosovo run by mafia, Serbs feel safer in Pristina (Blic)
Leader of Serb European Movement and a former member of the Kosovo Assembly, Rada Trajkovic said last night in Kraljevo not a single murder in the north of Kosovo has been resolved and that the north of Kosovo is run by the mafia, Blic daily reported.
Trajkovic added that following the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, many Serbs feel safer in Pristina than in northern Kosovo.
Trajkovic made these remarks in a debate held in Kraljevo and dedicated to Oliver Ivanovic, his murder, motives for it and the course of the investigation.
Marko Jaksic, who is one of the three Mitrovica North Municipal Assembly councillors from the Civic Initiative Freedom, Democracy, Justice (GI SDP) said both sides are conducting the investigation, but they are doing it unprofessionally. And it looks like they are helping each other not to find the killer and those who gave the order.
Nenad Radosavljevic, owner of RTV Mir from Leposavic said that freedom of movement in Kosovo is not on expected level. He added, there was a hope situation would calm down over the time and violence would end, however, there are still those in Kosovo who do not want that to happen, Blic daily reported.
