Jankovic, Djuric on Oliver Ivanovic murder (Tanjug, B92)

Members of the opposition Free Citizens Movement (PSG) gathered on Saturday in front of the Serbian Presidency to mark five months since the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, Serbian media reported.

They have gathered to ask the state and its bodies who have murdered Serb politician from Kosovo.

Leader of the Movement, Sasa Jankovic also participated in a gathering, did not want to give the statements to the media and was responding to every journalists’ question with a question “Who has murdered Oliver Ivanovic?”

Meanwhile, the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director, Marko Djuric, in a reaction to the gathering said that “Sasa Jankovic and his political organization are part of a wider movement whose interest is to weaken public support to the struggle of the Serbian state in decisive moments to protect national interests in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as to cause uneasiness among Serbian citizens,” Serbian media reported.

Djuric added “if Jankovic wished to contribute to shading the light on Oliver Ivanovic murder, he would hold protests in the centre of Pristina.”
