Simic: Each agreement improves the position of the Serbs and other citizens in Kosovo (Kontakt plus radio)
The spokesperson of the Serbian List Igor Simic told Kontakt plus radio that the current security situation in Kosovo is worrying. He welcomed the continuation of the dialogue in Brussels but assess as the failure of non-acceptance of the document by the Government of Kosovo because it was written in the Cyrillic alphabet. He says this was another indicator of the attitude of Kosovo institutions towards Serb representatives.
Simic expresses his worries over the fact that the perpetrators of the many incidents that have occurred in the past two months have not yet been discovered.
“Simply, whenever you have an announcement of an agreement in Brussels and the possibility of eventually reaching certain agreements that will mean peace and security for all who live in the KiM area, certain informal centers of power from Pristina are against, who are accustomed to ''a blurry'' working, it is usually done by attacking Kosovo Serbs who are unprotected,” says Simic to Kontakt plus radio.
Simic reitarates that the dialogue between Belgrade-Pristina has no alternative and that any agreement means improving the position of Serbs and other citizens in Kosovo and establishing peace and security.
On the Statute of the Community of Serbian Municipalities (ZSO), Simic says that the statute is in drafting process, that the management team is in charge in accordance with the agreement in Brussels, and that 4 August is the deadline for them to submit the statute to Brussels.
