Mustafa: Dialogue has produced positive results (RTK/Telegrafi)
Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, said in a debate today on the fourth anniversary of the first Pristina-Belgrade agreements that the dialogue has produced positive results and has enabled Kosovo institutions to exercise control over the north and integrate Serbs into Kosovo institutions. Furthermore, Mustafa said, agreements reached in Brussels through the EU facilitation have also provided Kosovo its own dialing code. However, he stressed that agreements on energy, cadaster and the establishment of the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities continue not to be implemented.
For the last one, Mustafa blamed the Serbian List which, according to him, has shown no interest in establishment of the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities. He said the Serbian List does not want this mechanism to be established in accordance to the Constitution of Kosovo. “We have insisted the establishment of Association be done based on these agreements and the decision of the Constitutional Court. I am not sure how the Association will be set up but we have to ensure it is done within the constitutional framework,” Mustafa said adding that he has called on the Serbian List several times to join the process but noted no willingness on its part to do so.
