Dismissal of Jablanovic – destruction of the Brussels Treaty (RTS)
Following the removal of the minister in the Kosovo government, Aleksandar Jablanovic, decision on further participation in the cabinet of Isa Mustafa, representatives of the Serbian list will bring in the coming days. More information will be known after a meeting with Serbian Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vucic.
Serb representatives estimate that the decision to dismiss Aleksandar Jablanovic has shown nervousness of Kosovo Prime Minister before the resumption of dialogue in Brussels.
"Some people in these tense situations do not bring the right decisions that will certainly have repercussions in the future. It is our duty to represent the interests of our people in Kosovo and Metohija and, no matter how difficult conditions are, to try to extract what is best," highlights Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Branimir Stojanovic.
Mayor of Gracanica, Vladeta Kostic, believes that the act has set a matrix, which shows that under public pressure, but also street demonstrations, any minister may be removed regardless of whether is coming from the Serbian or Albanian community.
Joining of the Serbian list to a coalition with Isa Mustafa and Hashim Thaci was not easy, but is the result of the Brussels dialogue. Minister Aleksandar Vulin believes that the dismissal of Jablanovic is demolition of the Brussels Treaty.
"Kosovo Serbs have not entered the institution because Isa Mustafa, Kosovo Prime Minister, has asked them, than because we have agreed in Brussels. Then their courage has to be respected for entering these institutions and for protecting their people" says Minister of Labour Aleksandar Vulin.
