A potential admission of Kosovo to UNESCO would mean a start of annihilation of Serbia, says Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic.

Speaking to the RTS, Nikolic said that, in his address before the UN General Assembly on Wednesday, he will point out that the Serbian heritage in Kosovo has been destroyed for years and that it is high time that ethnic Albanian institutions start caring for them.

Our roots and what is etched in stone as the history of Serbia must not be erased - that is neither moral nor just, Nikolic noted.
