Haradinaj: Report on the Statute of ZSO returned to the ministry, written in Cyrillic, must be in three languages (Kossev, RTK2, RTS)
Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj confirmed that the transcript of the meeting of Kosovo Minister Ivan Todosijevic with the representatives of the Working Group for the drafting of the Statute of the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) was returned to the Ministry of Administration and Local Self-Government of Kosovo because the document sent to the government was written in Cyrillic.
After a government meeting, Haradinaj said at a press conference that it is very important that parliament be informed about the course of the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade, and that for this purpose a mechanism should be created to report to the assembly.
Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj told a press conference that he did not read the transcript of the meeting of Minister Todosijevic and the representatives of the Working Group for the drafting of the Statute of the ZSO, because the report was in Cyrillic.
"The document arrived on the Cyrillic script. Although I can read it, we asked for the report to be sent in three languages. It is also an obligation, because when we send material, we also send in three languages. We have asked and we need to get a report in the official languages not just on one. The ministry should translate the transcript and send it in the language we understand. Once this is completed, then we will analyse the material," Haradinaj said.
Speaking about the last round of Pristina-Belgrade dialogue held in Brussels and the need for parliament to be familiar with the content of the meeting, Haradinaj said that some kind of communication bridge between the institutions and the negotiating team should be formed, reports Serbian media.
