Meeting of heads of governments of the West Balkan (Serbian media)

Serbian media reported yesterday that Albania would be hosting an informal meeting of the heads of the Western Balkan governments, citing a statement of the Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama's cabinet.

The cabinet's statement reads that the topic of the meeting will be "regional economic integration", the development of a common vision for EU accession, implementation of the regional economic zone and other issues.

The meeting of the six prime ministers of the Western Balkans - Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, FYROM, Kosovo and Albania will be held in Durres, where a similar meeting was held last year.

However, Belgrade based daily Danas reports today that the Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabic will not attend the meeting, citing regional broadcaster N1.

According to reports from the Serbian media, it is expected that the meeting will be attended by European Commissioner for Enlargement Johannes Hahn.
