Trump set August 25, 2020 as a deadline for Kosovo? (Vecernje Novosti, Srpski Telegraf, Tanjug)
Srpski Telegraf daily writes today that US President Donald Trump has set August 25 next year as the deadline for resolving the Kosovo issue, and states that it includes a demarcation deal.
"The deadline to put an end to the Kosovo node is August 25 next year, two months before the US presidential election (in November), when Donald Trump will fight for another term in the White House," Serbian media quotes Srpski telegraf.
The daily estimates that, given that for Trump much more means greater victory on the foreign policy plan in his campaign, "it is clear that resolving the Kosovo issue, which in the US president's vision means dividing Kosovo, would be an ideal scenario."
''On the Kosovo issue, Trump has the utmost confidence in National Security Advisor John Bolton, who is pushing for the idea of demarcation the most, and he is the one who should complete that story in the coming period," the daily writes, quoting words of its "well informed interlocutor'', reports Serbian media.
