Rada Trajkovic: New coalition established (RTK2, Radio Kosovo 2)
RTK reported on Wednesday that some Serb political representatives south of the Ibar River have established a new pre-election coalition ahead of early parliamentary elections in Kosovo, scheduled to take place on October 6.
Meanwhile, Rada Trajkovic confirmed to Radio Kosovo 2 program in Serbian, that a new coalition had been established between her, Nenad Rasic (PDS), Dragisa Miric (NPK), Slavisa Petkovic and Branislav Markovic.
Trajkovic, who is also a member of the Alliance for Kosovo (part of the Serbian opposition Alliance for Serbia) said, according to Radio Kosovo, her only condition for joining this coalition was opposition to Srpska Lista and the policy of the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. She also said that none of the parties from northern Kosovo have joined them so far, but negotiations are ongoing. She believes that the new coalition has the support of citizens from northern Kosovo, although she believes that fear remains due to the killing of the leader of CI SDP Oliver Ivanovic.
“I expect support of the people, and I do not know how many political leaders are brave at this time to join us. I encouraged Ksenija Bozovic to join us, bearing in mind her honesty and courage when it comes to investigating the murder of Oliver Ivanovic. It would be an honour for me to have her with us. We will see if she would manage to overcome her responsibility for her family, because we know the situation,” Trajkovic said.
She added that the campaign will seek to point out the true values, noting that it is only through the process of democratization that the "presence of mafia structures in northern Kosovo" can be broken.
RTK also reported that Aleksandar Jablanovic, leader of Party of Kosovo Serbs (PKS) is taking part in the upcoming elections in Kosovo
