Drecun: The British have placed the north under intensified observation and interfere with the mobile telecommunications (KoSSev)

After the British government sent a warning to its citizens not to travel to municipalities in the north of Kosovo due to risks of security incidents, thus causing intense reactions in the public, the UK government in Pristina issued a statement that the British embassy ''advised against all but essential travel to the northern municipalities for several years, due to a number of recent violent incidents linked to organised crime in northern Kosovo. ''

Tourist organisation Outdoor In: British Embassy is inflicting irreparable damage to tourism and economic development of northern Kosovo (Radio Mitrovica Sever)

Radio Kosovska Mitrovica has published a press release of the tourist organisation “Outdoor In” in which they have pointed out that the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office has issued an instruction to British tourists traveling to Kosovo to avoid municipalities with Serb majority in the north of Kosovo - Kosovska Mitrovica, Leposavic, Zubin Potok and Zvecan. The reasoning for this decision are the protests that may turn violent towards the tourists.

British Embassy does not comment Mustafa's statement, requests fighting of corruption (E.O.)

The outgoing Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, took to Facebook to write that “it became obvious that even internationals, who continuously speak about the war against crime and corruption, are in fact more interested for stability, be it even managed by crime, than for a governance that would fight crime in an independent manner.” The Embassy of  Great Britain to Kosovo, did not want to comment Mustafa’s statement, but the Embassy’s Office for Information, stressed in an e-mail response  that the only thing that matters to them is war against corruption.

Delawie: Fighting corruption should be a priority (RTKlive)

The Ambassador of the United States of America to Kosovo, Greg Delawie, said that fighting corruption should be a priority for all actors in Kosovo. Delawie made these comments during the round table organized by the Institute for Justice, supported by the U.S. and United Kingdom Embassies in Kosovo. They discussed performance and results of the justice institutions with a focus on fighting corruption.
