Recognition of Kosovo - "separatists' unfulfilled dream" (B92)

Serbia recognizing Kosovo "will remain the unfulfilled dream of Pristina separatists," Marko Djuric has said.

Reacting to statements by provincial officials, including the newly-elected President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, the Director of the Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija said that "Belgrade and Serbia want to have truly good and stable relations with Pristina and all Albanians in the region."

Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Marko Djuric said that the Serbian parliamentary elections will be held on the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, adding that the Serbian progressive Party (SNS) will win in the elections. After the first pre-election rally of the coalition "Serbia is winning - Aleksandar Vučić," he emphasized that all Serbian citizens, including those in Kosovo and Metohija, will be able to vote. He said that SNS in Kosovo and Metohija is leading a policy of a united Serbia, which is garnering a high level of trust.

“The process of delay of the creation of the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities is not acceptable for Serbia from a political point of view and we have made it clear in front of the 190 members of the United Nations, and in front of the permanent and non-permanent members of the Security Council (UN)”, said Director of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djurić to TV Most.

Djuric to the Kosovo citizens: Exercise your right to vote (TV Most)

"All polling centres will be opened in Kosovo and our citizens who are registered in the electoral lists will be able and should exercise their right to vote, particularly due to the special political circumstances," said the Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric. Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic will visit Kosovo in the next 20 days, the head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric announced during the weekend.

Vucic will visit the Serb communities both north and south of the River Ibar and speak with Serb representatives to see "what, and how, is being done and how people live," Djuric told the RTS.
