Đurić not going to Pristina because of the government session (KIM radio)

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić cancelled participation in the seminar of NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Pristina because at that time he will be at the session of the national and provincial governments in Novi Sad.

As previously RTK reported, Đurić has cancelled participation in this seminar because the invitation had been sent with the name of his function without the word "Metohija".

Gazeta Fjala found out that the borderline between Kosovo and Montenegro was confirmed by Kumanovo Agreement, which ended presence of Serbian armed forces in Kosovo.

This agreement has defined Kosovo’s borderline, by respecting the border situation of 1988.

Veseli: Kosovo determined to further peace in the region (RTK)

The President of the Kosovo Assembly, Kadri Veseli, met today in Pristina with a delegation of the Swedish Parliament, members of the NATO Assembly, led by Bjorn von Sydow. The meeting focused on the priorities of the Kosovo Assembly with special emphasis on security issues. Veseli said: “Kosovo is determined to further peace in the region; to contribute to mutual understanding and trust and to become part of security mechanisms such as NATO”.

Albania will host tomorrow for the first time the three-day Summit of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. 260 people from 28 NATO member countries as well as delegates from the partner countries are expected to attend the Summit. The main focus of the discussions will be global and Balkans security. Kosovo will also be represented at the Summit by Deputy President of the Assembly of Kosovo, Xhavit Haliti. The Assembly of Kosovo gained in 2014 the status of the observer at NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
