Haradinaj on arrest of Kosovo MPs (media)

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj said that he feels sorry for what happened to the Kosovo Assembly MPs today. However, he added that Vetevendosje MPs should appear in front of the court, whenever called. “Arrest of Kosovo MPs happened today. The truth is  that we objected the agreements that remain a danger for Kosovo. We think that the then rebellion has had positive impact. This was the position of the Alliance then, being that it was political not legal objection.

Haradinaj: New chapter of cooperation with the U.S. confirmed (RTK)

The Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj, said today at the Millennium Challenge in Kosovo conference, that a new chapter of cooperation with the United States of America is being confirmed.

Speaking about this foundation, Haradinaj said it is important Kosovo gains aid from the U.S., and pledged to fight corruption and organized crime in order for Kosovo to profit more of this kind of financial aids.

Haradinaj: We deserve to become NATO members as soon as possible (RTK)

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, said today during the regional security conference “NATO and Western Balkans” that he hopes that Kosovo will become a NATO member by 2020.

“We see the NATO role on prevention of war and extremism, and help for peace and security in the world,” Haradinaj said.

He also spoke about the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade, saying that this process should continue in order to have good neighborly relations.

In a meeting today, the government of Kosovo discussed implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) and Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said all relevant institutions should work hard to make sure Kosovo receives EU candidate status by 2019. “We have identified key priorities for 2018,” said Haradinaj explaining that these include the European Reform Agenda and groundwork for candidate status by 2019. “Our goal is to prove that we are taking the work seriously, especially European integration,” Haradinaj noted.

Kosovo’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, has organized a round table on “Combating violent extremism and radicalism which lead to terrorism.”

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj who is participating at this round table said combating violent extremism is priority of the government.

“We should be determined on preventing any spreading that leads to terrorism. Kosovo needs a serious plan to treat those who were involved in these activities in order to be safe,” Haradinaj said.

Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, said the government of Kosovo will soon adopt a plan on the official position to the issue of dialogue with Serbia and all other  matters of crucial interest. He said this plan would not be under the ownership of either the president of Kosovo or the government but will be put to vote at the Assembly of Kosovo.

Haradinaj condemns Serbia’s “interference” in Kosovo elections (Koha)

Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has strongly condemned Serbia’s “interference” in Kosovo local election set to take place this Sunday. In a Facebook post, Haradinaj wrote that such actions are in conflict to the principle of good neighbourly relations and “significantly undermine” the process for normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia. “Good integration of Kosovo Serbs is a mutual interest and any attempt to damage this goal shall be considered as breach of their political will.
