Independent Association of Journalists of Serbia (NUNS) condemned attacks against journalists during the visit of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Kosovo over the weekend, insisting that responsible institutions should react, identify and punish the perpetrators, FoNet news agency reported.
Assembly of Serbia adopted a proposal from Association of Journalists of Serbia (UNS) and the Independent Association of Journalists of Serbia (UNNS) to appoint Zivojin Rakocevic as a member of Anti-Corruption Agency Board, Serbian media reported.
With this decision, a place representing the journalists’ associations in the Board has been filled after more than five years. In separate statements, the journalist associations said the traditional campaign is a warning to the public about the never-worst position of the journalistic profession in Serbia.
