Djuric in Leposavic: No one should fear from bullies (Tanjug, RTS)

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Director, Marko Djuric, visited yesterday in the afternoon Leposavic, to get first-hand information on frequent attacks against Srpska Lista activists, involving according to the victims’ testimonies activists of the Party of Kosovo Serbs (PKS) and members of Dragan Jablanovic family, who is a mayoral candidate in Leposavic, Tanjug news agency reported.

TV Most: Ivanović and Milović are exercising inappropriate pressure on the media (TV Most)

Leadership of the Television Most from Zvečan issued on yesterday a statement, in a response to the announcement of the representatives of CI SDP Oliver Ivanović and CI “For Our Zvečan”- Dragiša Milović, to file a lawsuit against this media.

According to the press statement, the controversial videos were aired on this TV station, “under commercial conditions and within a paid term”, and therefore, representatives of these two civic initiatives “thereby exerted undue pressure on the media”.

Vulin: Vote for Srpska Lista, it is link with Government of Serbia (KoSSev Portal)

After Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Director, Marko Djuric called upon Serbs from Kosovo to vote for Srpska Lista at the forthcoming local elections, the same call was repeated by former director of the Office for Kosovo and current Minister of Defence, Aleksandar Vulin, KoSSev portal reported today.

Vulin called upon Serbs in Kosovo “(…) to vote for Srpska Lista, participate in elections in large numbers and do not allow others to decide for them,” KoSSev reported.

 

PKS condemns Srpska Lista over “hate speech and threats” (KIM Radio)

Party of Kosovo Serbs, whose mayoral candidate for Leposavic municipality is Dragan Jablanovic, in the strongest terms condemned “hate speech and violence, as well as methods of threats and blackmails that Srpska Lista uses,” KIM Radio reported.

PKS said that the claims of the Srpska Lista that the PKS activists stormed the Srpska Lista premises in Leposavic and tried to strangle present people “is bordering the madness,” adding people in the north of Kosovo should not fall a prey to such allegations.

Srpska Lista continues campaign in Gracanica (RTS)

Srpska Lista, continued its campaign for local elections in Kosovo, and presented its mayoral candidate for Gracanica municipality, Srdjan Popovic, RTS reported.

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Director, Marko Djuric attended the gathering in Gracanica to offer the support to Srpska Lista on behalf of the Serbian Government, RTS reported.

“Government of Serbia should not take anyone’s side” (Danas, RTK 2)

Civic Initiative Central Kosovo called upon the representatives of the Serbian Government to “stop taking anyone’s side” in order to provide citizens in the forthcoming Kosovo elections to “make their own assessments” respectively “to punish or reward results achieved on the ground,” Serbian media reported.

The CI Central Kosovo further said the results on the ground are catastrophic – social injustice, double and triple salaries, irresponsibility, lack of work and conformism,” RTK 2 reported.

Serb List to be "united" for local elections in Kosovo (BETA, B92)

President of the Srpska Lista, Goran Rakic announced on Friday that this political group will be united in the October 22, local elections in Kosovo.

This, Rakic said, was the only request of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic during his meeting with representatives of Serbs from Kosovo in Belgrade earlier in the day, attended also by Director of the Serbian Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric.

Rakic said that Vucic gave his "unreserved" support to the Srpska Lista candidates for mayors and councilors.

Ivanovic on elections, Milović’s wife demoted from position of head of department (Kontakt plus radio, KoSSev portal)

Leader of the Civic Initiative Freedom, Democracy, Justice (GI SDP) and a candidate for mayor of North Mitrovica, Oliver Ivanović, said at the press conference that the atmosphere during the pre-election campaign in Kosovo resembles the one before the 5 October 2000 in Serbia, Serbian media reported.

Ivanovic said that the pressure continues on the people from his list and from CI “For our Zvečan” led by Doctor Dragiša Milović, and according to him, the latest development are the invitations of the directors of all subordinates to the direct talks.
