Trepca miners warn that they will continue strike (Koha)

The Trepca miners today announced that they if Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa doesn’t take any action regarding Trepca, they would continue their strike which they suspended in late January this year. "The strike that was suspended in January might as well continue again. We demand solving Trepca’s status and approving the law on Trepca,” said Trepca’s director, Qazim Jashari.

President Jahjaga and Baroness Anelay visit Gjakova (Telegrafi)

National Investment Council will begin work this month (KosovaPress)

The first meeting of the National Council for Investment, which was set up a few days ago by the government, is expected to be held in late July. This Council will manage the process of financing of infrastructure projects in Kosovo. This was announced by the Minister of European Integration, Bekim Collaku. According to him, this body aims to ensure synergy between the different sources of funding, namely the budget, loans and grants. The President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga met on Wednesday in London the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Special Representative of the British Prime Minister for the prevention of sexual violence in conflict, Baroness Joyce Anelay with whom she discussed the institutional and social initiatives in Kosovo to rehabilitate and reintegrate the survivors of rape during the war in Kosovo. 70 million € agreement (Zeri)

The government of Kosovo in the next few weeks will sign a financial agreement IPA 2014 with the European Commission in value of 70 million €, which would be programmed by the Ministry of European Integration.
