Vesti portal reports that the Association of Journalists of Serbia (UNS) recently uncovered another murder of a journalist in Kosovo, commentator of the RTV Pristina, Kristo Gegaj, who was killed in Istok in 1999.

His name has not been recorded so far in any of the lists of killed journalists, and the number of killed and kidnapped journalists and media workers during and after the war in Kosovo has risen to 14, reports Vesti.

Basic prosecution office in Djakovica rejected complaint and due to lack of evidence decided not to launch a criminal proceeding against unknown perpetrators, who in May 2016 on the way Zociste-Velika Hoca, demolished memorial plaque dedicated to the journalists, Djuro Slavuj and Ranko Perenic, Association of Journalists of Serbia said, Kontakt plus radio reported.

The Serbian List said, on the occasion of the nineteenth anniversary of the disappearance of two journalists from Radio Pristina, that the families of missing journalists and all citizens in Kosovo expect the responsible ones are found and to punish them.
