Vejvoda: Exchange of territories could be realistic solution for Kosovo (Novi Magazin, Kontakt plus radio)

European Project Director at Vienna Institute for Human Sciences, Ivan Vejvoda, said that exchange of territories, Presevo valley for the north of Kosovo, could be a realistic solution if Belgrade and Pristinta would agree to that, and get support from the international community, UN, EU, USA, Russia and other permanent UN SC members, Novi Magazin reported.

Vejvoda, said that this idea now comes from Kosovo, and it was one of the three or four scenarios proposed by the assassinated Serbian Prime Minister, Zoran Djindjic.

 The government of Kosovo, claims that it will request during the next negotiations between Pristina and Belgrade in Brussels, compensation for the power bills not paid by Serb population in four northern municipalities of Kosovo.

This announcement came after publication of facts that the population of northern Kosovo, respectively consumers of Leposavic, Mitrovica North, Zubin Potok and Zvecan, have not paid their electricity bills and that these debts were billed to the rest of the population of Kosovo.

Kabasic: Basic Court to start working on Monday, Department of Appeals deals with appeals (KoSSev portal)

In an interview to KoSSev news portal, President of the Basic Court in Mitrovica, Nikola Kabasic said that the Court in North Mitrovica within the Kosovo judicial system will start operating on Monday, at 8.00.

On the same day, the judges will start work in the court building in the former Jugobanka facility in South Mitrovica, as well as in the court units in Leposavic and Zubin Potok. In the north, the Department of the Kosovo Court of Appeals will also be led by the judge Milan Bigovic. This department will deal with the appeals and not the court in Pristina.

Brnabic: Judges in Kosovo gave neutral statement, not oath (N1 TV)

Serbian Prime Minister, Ana Brnabic said Serbian judges and prosecutors did not take an oath before the Kosovo President, Hashim Thaci, but gave special, neutral statement, TV N1 reported.

After the alleged statement of the oath was shared on the social networks mentioned that judges swore on the Kosovo Constitution and the oath was not neutral, PM Brnabic expressed her opinion on Twitter.

“In order for you to have accurate information, our judges did not take an oath, but gave special, status neutral statement. The truth matters,” PM wrote.
