Petrovic family house in Gracanica was robbed and 700 euros and gold worth 450 euros were stolen, reports RTV Gracanica. The robbery happened last night, when unknown perpetrators burst into the house through the bedroom window, and as the owner said, after returning home, they found window-glass broken and stuff jumbled, from where money and jewellery went missing. Yesterday around 11 am, an unknown person fired shots at the premises within the household of Dragan Maksimovic and at the vehicle belonging to his son-in-law in Donja Gusterica village, reports Gracanica based KIM radio.

Maksimovic is the director of the elementary school 'King Lazar' in this village.

KIM radio reports, quoting RTV Gracanica, that at the moment, Maksimovic's parents were in the house. Dragan Maksimovic called the police which immediately came and made an investigation.

According to unofficial information of the Radio Television of Gracanica, in Kralja Milutina Street in Gracanica, allegedly unknown persons were provoking A.M. from the car around 5 pm.

RTV Gracanica, quoting the words of the family members, reports that NN persons tried to drag her into the car. The case was not reported to the Kosovo police.

Colonel Nik Ducic, commander of the US Bondsteel base in Kosovo, said on Friday that President Hashim Thaci’s visit to the Gazivode lake was about domestic politics.

The colonel told Gracanica TV that the visit upset both the Serb and Albanian communities even though there were no incidents. “You know that there was a protest in Pristina that day which was not reported by the media.
