The condition of the wounded Serb from North Mitrovica stable (Serbian media)

Serbian young man who was stabbed when assaulted by the group of Albanians is presently stable and feels fine.

Milan Ivanovic, CEO of North Mitrovica Health Center told Tanjug.

"After being stabbed in the left lumbar region and lower chest, he was urgently operated due to heavy bleeding. The bleeding has stopped, and he is now in intensive care unit", Ivanovic told Tanjug news agency.

Shots fired in village Donja Gusterica, no one was injured (KIM radio, RTV Gracanica, KoSSev)

Yesterday around 11 am, an unknown person fired shots at the premises within the household of Dragan Maksimovic and at the vehicle belonging to his son-in-law in Donja Gusterica village, reports Gracanica based KIM radio.

Maksimovic is the director of the elementary school 'King Lazar' in this village.

KIM radio reports, quoting RTV Gracanica, that at the moment, Maksimovic's parents were in the house. Dragan Maksimovic called the police which immediately came and made an investigation.

SRSG Tanin condemns attack on Serb pilgrims and urges respect for freedom of movement and freedom of religion (Serbian media)

The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK, Mr. Zahir Tanin, condemns the incident in Istog/Istok municipality which took place yesterday when two buses transporting Serb pilgrims were stoned.

“Such acts are unacceptable and competent authorities should investigate the case and bring perpetrators to justice,” SRSG Tanin stresses.

He reminds all of the fundamental rights to freedom of movement and freedom of religion.

Police arrest attackers on two Albanians in Serbia (Serbian media)

Serbia’s Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said on Tuesday that police from the northern city of Novi Sad arrested four people suspected of attacking two young Albanians over the weekend, N1 reported.

Stefanovic said that police found the clothing the suspects wore at the night of the attack, adding that that was important for the further investigation.

Bus owner refuted Pacolli, says there was no attack (RTS, Kallxo)

Director of company “Barileva Tourist” Naser Januzi denied allegations of the Kosovo Foreign Minister, Beghjet Pacolli who said bus transporting passengers from Kosovo was attacked in central Serbia on Sunday, RTS reported. Pacolli wrote on Facebook the bus from Kosovo, was attacked “with solid objects” in Serbia, and that the EU, international community and institutions of law and order in Serbia should condemn the attack. Januzi told portal Kallxo that the bus window was broken, unintentionally. “We were not attacked, it was an accident. A stone came from a track and hit the windshield.

Oliver Ivanovic's car set on fire (KoSSev portal, B92)

A car owned by Oliver Ivanovic was set on fire in the northern Mitrovica at 04:00 hours CET on Friday morning, Serbian media are reporting. Kossev portal received confirmation of the incident from both Ivanovic and from the deputy regional chief of Kosovo Police, Besim Hoti. It is reported that the car, a VW Passat, was parked in front of the pharmacy in Lole Ribara Street when it was torched. The case is considered an arson attack that caused general danger.

Bus carrying Serb high school students stoned in Kosovo (TV Puls, B92)

A bus carrying students of two high schools home attacked with stones around 13:00 CET on Thursday on the Šilovo-Koretište road in Kosovo.

"Four unidentified young men" attacked the bus, TV Puls from Šilovo has reported.

Nobody was injured during the incident, while minor material damage was done to the vehicle.

According to the driver of the bus, Zoran Stević, the attackers used stones and snowballs and were "about 15 years old."

Another attack on family Zdravković (Kontakt plus radio)

Unknown assailants yesterday around 18 o'clock opened fire with automatic weapons on family Zdravković, from Paralovo village, in the municipality of Novo Brdo / Novobërdë. The attack took place while the brothers Zdravković looked after the cattle near their houses. According to the TV Puls this is the fourth attack on the family Zdravković. Just six days ago in similar circumstances, the shots were fired on the members of Zdravković family. The case was reported to the Kosovo police.
