Scott and Stefanovic about ZSO and Brussels agreement (Tanjug, RTS)

USA Ambassador to Serbia, Kyle Scott thinks that question whether ZSO should be established in line with the Brussels agreement or Kosovo laws is contradictory, as according to him, Brussels agreement also says that what would be approved must be in line with Kosovo and Serbia’s laws, RTS reported.

Daily newspaper Blic writes that the Kosovo government has officially announced that the process of forming the Community/Association of Serb municipalities (ZSO), even the EU that the drafting of the Statute has begun, and representatives of the Serbs claim that none of this has been done.

Office for KiM: ZSO only in a manner agreed in Brussels (RTK2)

The Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija issued a statement regarding the decision of Pristina to unblock the process of forming the Community/Association of Serb Municipalities (ZSO), reports RTK2.

The Office states that Belgrade and the Serbs from Kosovo are seeking the implementation of the agreements reached and will take part in the work on forming the ZSO only in a manner agreed in Brussels.

According to the statements of Serb political representatives, who earlier announced withdrawal from the Kosovo government, 10 Serb-majority municipalities in Kosovo should form independently the ZSO, in accordance with the principles outlined in the Brussels agreement, Serbian media reported. This ZSO would have President, Deputy President, Council, the Assembly, and would consist of the representatives of 10 municipalities.
