The United States Embassy in Kosovo on Wednesday unveiled the America for Kosovo project, as an opportunity for exchange programs in education and study abroad. The main goal of this project is to advance the education, prevention of drug use, creating traffic safety and the cooperation with the Kosovo Police. The US Deputy Ambassador to Kosovo, Jennifer Bachus, said that during the 15 years in Kosovo, the US Embassy has supported Kosovo through various projects. "For 15 years the US embassy has given its strong support through various projects in many areas.

The US Deputy Assistant Secretary for European Security, Technology and Implementation, Greg Delawie is expected to be the new US ambassador to Kosovo. Delawie is a senior US foreign service official with almost thirty years of experience and is an expert on national security, diplomacy and political-military affairs.

Kosovo Police is ex officio obliged to conduct an investigation for endangering the safety of citizens. However, when it comes to the case of stoning buses with the Serbs from "Ðakovica /Gjakova, there is no investigation. 

US Embassy in Serbia today expressed regret over the violence, fanaticism and hooliganism at last night's football match Serbia-Albania in Belgrade. "It is regrettable that another sport event has turned into a place for the expression of nationalism and violence. Sport events are no place for this kind of fanaticism and hooliganism," was said from the Embassy.
