Police confirms finding of hand grenades and bullets at University Clinical Center of Kosovo (Koha Ditore)

Kosovo Police has informed through a press release to have found two hand grenades and 15 bullets at the Eye Clinic of the University Clinical Center of Kosovo. It also confirmed that exploding devices are removed from the clinic in a controlled manner, in order to return the situation at UCCK to normality. The police received the information for the presence of these devises at 10:30 and immediately undertook all the required measures, including evacuation of the Eye Clinic staff. Specialized units found these devises at the ceiling of the building.

Violence spiral leads to tragedy (Koha Ditore)

Veton Surroi criticizes the coalition government parties, for the approach towards the created situation in Kosovo. Mitrovica: Judges to visit the crime scene today (Kosovapress)

Representatives of the Judicial council, prosecution and defense of the accused Oliver Ivanovic, and four other Serbs, will visit on Monday locations in northern and southern part of Mitrovica, where Albanians were killed in 1999 and 2000.

The lawyer of Oliver Ivanovic and Nebojsha Vllajic, said for Kosovapress that representatives of the court will go today to identify the precise locations where according to the witnesses, ten Albanians were killed in February 2000.

International community can remove criminals from the political scene (Gazeta Blic)

According to the writer of this opinion piece, Faik Krasniqi, the international community is in a way testing the justice in Kosovo to understand if they are ready and brave to face crimes of different natures committed political and parapolitical “big fish” after the war in Kosovo. However, it is difficult to believe that Kosovo judges and prosecutors would be courageous to face the big fishes of political and business mafia.
