OSCE concerned about the safety of journalists in Kosovska Mitrovica (Blic)

OSCE representative for media freedom Dunja Mijatovic condemned the attack on journalists, during demonstrations in Kosovska Mitrovica, and expressed concern for their safety. She also requested guaranteed security for the journalists who report from the demonstrations.  In the statement, which refer to the media reports, was stated that journalists Behar Mustafa (BIRN), Faton Ismajli (Online Express) and Kajtaz Gecaj (Zeri) were attacked while they were reporting from the demonstrations in Kosovska Mitrovica, and that they were attacked by protesters.

American journalists: Albanians have extracted the organs (Blic)

American journalists, Michael Montgomery and Steven Smith, who investigated the human organ trafficking in Kosovo, claim that they have reached the witness and evidence that organs of Serbs have been extracted in the ‘yellow house’. The ‘Yellow house’ is located in village Ribe in vicinity of the town Burel in northern Albania. The house, populated with family Katuci, is today painted in white. Montgomery and Smith are the first ones who revealed the ‘yellow house’.

Djuric visited displaced in Hotel Junior in Štrpce/Shtërpcë (Blic)

The Director of the Serbia’s government Office for Kosovo said to yesterday to displaced persons sheltered in Hotel Junior in Štrpce/Shtërpcë that state has a duty to be with them and that ‘as long as there is state of Serbia they won’t remain homeless and without a bread in the plate’. Vucic: Talks with Kosovo Serbs next week (Blic)

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic stated today that he will confer with Kosovo Serbs in the course of next week in order to talk about their future and to hear their wishes. “Today, I will talk with the President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic about inviting Kosovo Serbs next week in order to hear from them how they see their future, and in order to try to find the common denominator. However, their wishes will prevail,” said Vucic to journalists in the Serbian government building.

German MP: Serbia has not met the requirements (Blic)

MP of Christian Democrats (CDU) in the Bundestag Johan Vadepul said that Serbia has not fulfilled the conditions of the road to the EU. In order to open the first chapter, it is important to complete the process of normalizing relations with Kosovo.  Vadepul said that his parliamentary group CDU CSU is not completely happy with fulfillment of the requirements that were set before the Serbian government, among other things, the relationship with Kosovo and the attack on the embassy of Germany (2008).

In Serbia Haradinaj charged with at least 60 murders (Blic)

A year and a half after the Hague Tribunal has released him from war crimes charges for the second time Ramus Haradinaj has the opportunity to sit again in the seat of Kosovo Prime Minister.  In 2005 Haradinaj was occupying the post of Kosovo Prime Minister but left it only a hundred days later after the charges for war crimes had been raised against him. “I will work for European and economically developed Kosovo in which law and order shall rule. Analyst Dusan Janjic said that the request of the Albanian opposition party Self-determination, on the termination of the dialogue with Belgrade, is unrealistic.  Representatives of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA) agreed in Pristina to propose the leader of the Alliance, Ramush Haradinaj for the position of the Prime Minister.
