Displaced in Brezovica reconnected to electricity (KIM Radio)

After six days spent without electricity displaced persons in former hotel ‘Junior’, which has been turned into a shelter, are reconnected to electricity supply, communicated Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija.  Communique further reads that collective centers in Brezovica won’t be charged with the higher industrial tariff for electricity consumption any more, as was the case so far. Collective shelters in Brezovica, which accommodate around a hundred of displaced Serbs from Uroševac/Ferizaj and Prizren are left without electricity supply as of Friday, due to a debt amounting to EUR 2000. Displaced persons in ‘Junior’ and two other collective shelters at Brezovica used to be compensated for electricity consumption up to 330 kWh by the Refugee Commissariat , whereas every individual consumer is due to cover eventual electricity consumption over that limit.

Rašić on Jablanović – Politics is cruel sometime (KIM Radio)

Dismissal of Aleksandar Jablanović comes as a result of dissatisfaction of the opposition and of a part of society with the political situation in Kosovo, following parliamentary elections, claims the only MP in the Kosovo Assembly from the ranks of the Progressive Democratic Party (PDS), Nenad Rašić. Rašić stressed that situation has culminated after Jablanovic’s statement, which offended mothers of Đakovice/Gjakovë and Self-Determination Movement. ‘Did he deserve it, I think not, after he apologized, but politics is sometimes cruel,” explained Rašić.

Death notice for Jablanović on social networks (KIM Radio)

Nojkić: Violent protests at the expense of Kosovo (KIM Radio)

The president of the Provincial Board of the Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO), Ranđel Nojkić, said that violent protests surprised analysts, foreign embassies and all those who monitor events in Kosovo. "The statement of Isa Mustafa who said that this would cause great damage to Kosovo was not naive, at all. On the other hand protest could be considered as an attempt to topple the government and all these developments now lead Kosovo in a specific situation," said Nojkić.
