Nikolic, Vucic and Patriarch Irinej to discuss Kosovo (Vecernje Novosti)

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will meet today Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and Patriarch Irinej to discuss the EU's draft platform for Chapter 35 on Kosovo.

According to daily Vecernje Novosti, President of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SANU) Vladimir Kostic was also invited to attend the meeting, to be held at the Serbian Presidency building.

Criminal charges against the Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic were delivered to the Higher Public Prosecutor in Belgrade on Friday for the signing of the Brussels Treaty. The charges were signed by 87 members of the Assembly of Kosovo and Metohija, who have pointed out that the two statesmen "violated the territorial integrity of Serbia".

President of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Art (SANU) Vladimir Kostic said that it was "important to express an opinion and when it is not suitable to the collective mind."

"I will not let someone to determine what I can say and what not and what is a unique opinion corpus which I should adhere to," said Kostic in a statement for the daily Vecernje Novosti.

The only possible exit from the labyrinth in which the Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic found himself, after the extradition of the draft platform of 36 points for Chapter 35, which represents the essential recognition of Kosovo's statehood, are the early parliamentary elections and Russia's help.

Analyst Cvijetin Milivojevic predicts such an option.

Belgrade requests Pristina to be warned (Vecernje Novosti)

In the course of the continued dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina in Brussels, Belgrade will push for obstructions of Kosovo Albanians with regard to implementation of the so far reached agreements to be on the agenda, particularly when it comes to the creation of the Association/Community of Serb municipalities (A/CSM), registration of energy companies from northern Kosovo and the Peace Park.

“Warnings to the general public that latest requests of the European Union are creepy and that Albanians are preparing something worse for us than recognition of independent Kosovo were quite clear to Aleksandar Vučić and earlier, because those are results of the reached Brussels Agreement. The time has come now for the truth to be told and responsibility shifted on someone else,” reads the statement of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija (AP KIM) forwarded to media.

Vucic: Pristina aims to impose solution sidestepping dialogue (Tanjug)

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic stated on Thursday that Pristina is trying to incorporate provisions on the status on Kosovo in the negotiating platform for Chapter 35 sidestepping the dialogue in Brussels.

This has to do with a draft document which is imposing Pristina's stance on the status of Kosovo, Vucic said, stressing that adopting such a platform would be worse for Serbia than a formal recognition of Kosovo's independence.
