Serbian PM opens OSCE conference in Belgrade, warns about "Balkan powder keg" (B92, RTK2)

Aleksandar Vucic said at the opening of the OSCE Ministerial Council that the Balkans remains "a powder keg that needs only a spark to explode again."

"I must express my concern for the stability in the Balkans. Serbia is a stable country, but several crisis situation in the region are enough - in Macedonia, Montenegro, Pristina - for the whole region be set on fire again," said Prime Minister of Serbia on Thursday.

Belgrade asked the EU to press Pristina; Possible collapse of the dialogue (Vecernje Novosti)

Belgrade asked the European Union to press Pristina in order to immediately form the Association / Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO). Otherwise, the continuation of the dialogue will be jeopardized.  Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has repeated that Serbia is ready for the dialogue, but he admitted that he is tired from the negative events happening in Pristina: “Also, I'm tired from one’s silence. We will allocate the money for the ZSO in the budget for next year, which will always exist in the reserve funds for this purpose.”

Vucic: "Somebody" wants to destabilize the Balkans (Beta, B92)

Aleksandar Vucic said in Moscow on Tuesday it was "obvious there is increase of tension in the Balkans, and attempts of an overall destabilization of relations."

The Prime Minister of Serbia spoke with reporters on the side-lines of a sitting of the Business Council of Serbia and Russia, and added that "somebody is making a lot of effort" to destabilize relations in the Western Balkans.

Vučić will meet Putin on Thursday (Politika)

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic will meet on Thursday with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Although, Russian Ambassador in Belgrade Alexander Chepurin  said there was no official announcement on Vucic's meeting with Putin - because "meetings at that level are announced only a day or two in advance," Vucic’s cabinet confirmed that the meeting is scheduled for Thursday.

Stefanovic: Opposition supports government on Kosovo and EU (B92)

Democratic Party (DS) party Vice-President Borislav Stefanovic said that "PM Aleksandar Vucic and the government have the opposition's support on Kosovo."

Beside, Stefanovic stressed that the government "has the support related to European integrations and the Brussels agreement."

The former negotiator in the technical dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina said he was "not surprised by the statement of the SANU President, Dr Kostic".
