The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) spokesperson, Muharrem Nitaj, told the news site that even if the Serbian List leaves the ruling-coalition, the AAK will not accept any possible invitations to enter this coalition. However, Nitaj said “the current government has failed and the AAK cannot be part of it.” He stressed that AAK has no conditions in order to become part of the government. “It is not a matter of conditions, but concept. The only solution is to agree about early elections.

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), did not welcome the proposal of Kosovo's President, Hashim Thaçi to establish a special commission for the establishment of the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities. Muharrem Nitaj, senior member of the AAK, said on Wednesday that a special commission cannot produce something that is in violation with Kosovo’s Constitution.

Senior member of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Muharrem Nitaj, said today that he believes that the Assembly violated the voting procedures in the election of the president. “I believe procedures were violated because one of the candidates voted as well. Also, most probably procedures were violated when the Assembly went on a break without reason after the first round of voting.

Opposition representatives told the news agency today that although early parliamentary elections were not their initial objective, elections are now seen as the only solution to the political crisis. Muharrem Nitaj, spokesman for the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), said the opposition expected the government would reflect on the “two anti-constitutional” agreements, referring to the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro and the agreement on the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities.
