Leadership of the Television Most from Zvečan issued on yesterday a statement, in a response to the announcement of the representatives of CI SDP Oliver Ivanović and CI “For Our Zvečan”- Dragiša Milović, to file a lawsuit against this media.
According to the press statement, the controversial videos were aired on this TV station, “under commercial conditions and within a paid term”, and therefore, representatives of these two civic initiatives “thereby exerted undue pressure on the media”.
“TV Most is not the creator of the videos of Srpska Lista and does not take responsibility for the content of any pre-election content broadcasted within a paid slot. We expect professional associations and broadcasters’ associations to condemn this attempt to intimidate the media.
We express our dissatisfaction with the fact that some of these associations have already sided with Ivanović and Milović, and that there has been no attempt to get any explanation from the colleagues in the Most television” it was said in the press statement of TV Most.
“The leadership of Television Most reminds that this media has survived years of pressure from, as they say “people who are both more powerful and dangerous than Mr Ivanović and Milović, but we never agreed to sell our professional credibility and dignity, nor were we afraid because we knew that truth and justice are on our side and that we work in the interest of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija,” TV Most reported.
