Deputy leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) Enver Hoxhaj said recently that Kosovo can return its dignity only with Kadri Veseli as Prime Minister and governing by PDK. Hoxhaj made these comments during PDK gathering in Prizren.
Analysts assess that these statements could lead to bringing the government down and early elections.
The two opposition political entities, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and Vetevendosje Movement have been seeking to bring the “Haradinaj government’ down and organize new elections, however the biggest political entity in the government, PDK is also being seen as a threat to the current government.
Analysts consider that Hoxhaj’s statement as well as different positions within the governing coalition, can be considered as PDK’s signals of bringing the government down, as according to them, this political entity has that power.
